Farmer's Market Mobile Garden/Cooking Demonstration

During the 2015 summer, Tulsa’s Table hosted educational outreach efforts at the Cherry Street and Brookside Markets. Seed-to-table demonstrations were given to an average of 60 individuals at each market. Booth visitors experienced seed planting with newspaper pots as well as cooking and tasting exhibits.

The demonstrations and accompanying printed information were intended to target persons shopping at the market with the assistance of Double Up Bucks, a program designed to double the purchasing power of shoppers on limited incomes.
